Dear Mr. Biddle,
After meeting and speaking with some of the "true" legends of the game: Frank Evans, Carl Long and Eugene Williams, at the Peach
State Classic in Atlanta, GA on November 3, 2001, I would like to thank you for
an experience of a lifetime. It will truly be one that I will never
forget. Please give a special thanks to Carl Long for taking the extra time talking to a
17 year old friend about "the struggles" and life in general. He
was very inspirational and seemed to really enjoy sharing his experiences.
I could tell that he really loves the game.
Mr. Biddle, I admire all that your foundation represents. It also allows
today's generation the opportunity to give back to yesterday's heroes. I look forward to future scheduled appearances and the opportunity to collect
more memorabilia. I wish you and YNLBP Foundation continued success!
Sincerely,
Anthony J. Freeman
